Fundamental #1 ALIGNMENT To hit the golf ball squarely at impact you must make sure your body is aligned squarely at address. This means your feet, hips, shoulders, and knees and club face should all be aimed towards the target. Fundamental #2 BALL POSITION Proper ball position helps you find the bottom of your swing. If your ball position is too far back in your stance the tendency is to strike the ball too early or on the way down resulting in either a lower than normal ball flight or a shot that is hit heavy or fat. If your ball position is too far forward in your stance the tendency is to strike the ball too late or on the way up resulting in either a higher than normal ball flight or a shot that is topped or doesn't get off the ground. Both positions result in loss of power and control.
Squared Up helps players improve both of these vital setup fundamentals!
When your alignment and ball position are correct you will see a straighter more consistent ball flight!
